Tennis Tournament

On Friday 27th of January, Girton tennis players were able to kickstart their school year with the annual Girton Grammar Tennis Tournament at the Bendigo Tennis Centre.

The day was full of excited and energised faces, with the sun shining brightly, making it a great day to play tennis.

Overall, there were around 30 students across the three age groups consisting of junior, intermediate and senior players.

The competition was fierce, close and great to watch as everyone tried their best and had fun.

Players played a round robin, first to six games to determine a winner, with crossover finals in the larger age groups.

We’d like to thank Steve Storer, Mr Norris and Ms Eenjes for all their hard work and effort they put into organising the day, allowing it to run smoothly.

And thanks to the Bendigo Tennis Centre for having us.
