Key Learning Area in Focus - CAPALOT

Did you know there is a new, magical realm within Chevalier College? It is the most joyous place on Earth, exclusive to all Chevalier squires, dreaming to become Masters of the art of language and the language of art. It is the ultimate team-up, more legendary than Arthur, Guinevere, and their Knights of the Round Table. We welcome you to… (cue awe-inspiring music, probably composed by John Williams) “The Kingdom of CAPALoT” - Creative Arts, Performing Arts and Languages – One Team (“to teach them all!”)

Our new team unites the following educational wizards as one - Mr Combes (Leader of Learning - CAPALoT), Ms Glase (Visual Arts), Ms Clunn (AP Wellbeing, who can shape-shift into a Visual Arts wizard), Mrs Farrugia (Visual Arts), Mrs Worthington (Visual Arts), Miss Robertson (Japanese), Mrs Combes (Japanese), Mrs Rynne (Dance), Miss Edwards (Music), Mrs Price (Drama), Mrs Gertler (Music), Mr Pauperis (Music/Visual Arts), Mrs Zerner (Choir Master), Mrs Griffin (Musical Director) and Mr Spence (Composer and Conductor.)

We surround the school with the “Art of Expression” – from the Southern Throne of Creative Arts to the Northern Throne of Performing Arts, including the Middle Earth Throne of Languages. If you ever find yourself on a quest along the well-trodden path between these three mighty thrones of Chevalier, you might find a gentle giant named Mr Combes, our Good Wizard of the West, and perhaps be introduced to our band of merry CAPALoT adventurers – “The Knights of Expression”. Sir Dancelot with his swan Lady Lake, Sir Galavant with his High Drama Llama, Sir Clef of Middle Sea with Peter his Wolf, Master Hyougen 表現 the Chevalier Samurai with her Crane, Sadako, and the great King Art with her dragon, Avalon.
