Senior Unit

The Grade 5 and 6 students have had a brilliant start to the year. They have all stepped up and are showing the signs of excellent leaders. 

So far we have been busy studying place value, types of comprehension and persuasive texts. 

In our RE unit we have been creating our own prayers and displaying them on Canva. Inquiry has seen us learn about taking responsible risks and how we can prepare for these as well as cyber safety.

Our class novel called ‘Once’ has proved a hit so far and has us on the edge of our seats for what will happen next.

Overall, spending time with the whole senior cohort has been a highlight for the students. 

We look forward to what the rest of the year brings.
