Parent/Teacher/Student Interviews and Student Success sessions (no classes)

Tuesday 21st February 1.00pm - 7.00pm

Parent teacher interviews will be held on site at each campus from 1.00pm to 4.30pm and 5.30pm to 7.00pm. Bookings for interviews can be made through the Compass parent portal. Parents will be advised via Compass when bookings are open. Interpreters will be available for interviews. 

We encourage all parents to make appointments to meet their child's teachers this year. Students should attend interviews with their parents/carers as there are no scheduled classes.

In addition, on this day staff will run Student Success information sessions for parents/carers and students at both campuses. 

Students and their families are invited to attend one of these sessions to gain a deeper understanding of how to best succeed in their schooling. Parents will be given strategies on how to best support their child including motivation techniques, stress management, common issues and how to overcome them, information about good study habits and the difference between homework and study.

Year 10-12 Extended Investigation Excursion - VCE Season of Excellence Top Talks

Friday 24th February

Students to meet Mr Troy at Ginifer Station at 8.30AM. Students will be dismissed from Ginifer station after school. Parents are required to provide consent via Compass.

Parent/Carer Information Evening for EAL/Refugee families

Wednesday 1st March at 6.00pm

Junior Campus

Parents and carers of EAL and refugee students are invited to attend this information evening to learn more about how they can support their child's learning at VUSC. Interpreters will be available to assist.
