Cluster Retreat

For most of us, the cluster retreats will be the last school camp that we will ever go

on. The cluster retreat camps are a great way for us to get to meet other students

within our cluster and to also reflect upon the values of Truganini and how we can

use those values within our own lives to become better people based on the

values of justice, reconciliation and empowerment.

On the first day at retreat, we enjoyed ourselves on activities such as the giant

swing, rafting, high ropes course and mountain bike riding. During the night, we

had the opportunity to hear from previous students about their faith experiences,

get warm and cozy around a campfire with our tutor group and create

our very own rosary beads.

On the final day of retreat, we had Michelle Newland come and speak to us as a

guest speaker, her story was inspiring to many of us and reminds us that we should

live life at its fullest and take every opportunity that we can. To wrap up the

Truganini retreat, we had a trivia challenge on various topics and a tutor group

song challenge. Overall, we had a lot of fun and the cluster retreat was a great and

enjoyable time for all of us.
