Food for Special Occasions
Mrs Rowston's Stage 5 Elective class recently completed a unit of work on Food for Special Occasions. Many fantastic cakes were made and are displayed below.
White Ribbon Day
We had the pleasure of meeting a superhero on Friday 15 September - Angela Barker, advocate, spokesperson and survivor of severe domestic violence whose personal story of resilience is a key component of the LoveBites program. Great work to Ms Elwin and Mr Newbery .

Music Keyboards For Sale
The Cowra High School CAPA faculty have been upgrading the keyboards used in music classes at Cowra High School. As a result, we now have a number of superseded keyboards we would like to sell. They would be perfect for beginners looking for an inexpensive instrument to practice on at home!
They are fully functional working through their own speakers; however, the headphone jacks do not work.
They require a 12volt, 1amp power adaptor to work, and can be purchased with an adaptor, or without. Adaptors can be sourced cheaply over the internet.
Price:
Keyboard + Adaptor: $40
Keyboard: $30
For more information, please speak to Ms. K O’Dea or Mr D. Hughes in the CAPA staffroom.
New Additions
Year 8 agriculture have been learning about chickens, and recently we have incubated some eggs and now have seventeen little chicks. They will become our new egg layers, and the Year 8 students will get to weigh them and watch them grow each week.
