Hakea House

Hakea, we have been busy, but there's more to come!!

Hakea contribution in various events has been extremely high – WELL DONE! 

The Hakean SRC representatives have planned numerous House events to allow students to come together and have fun. Events that have taken place include an UNO competition and dodgeball. Each event had both students AND teachers participating which created a much more fun environment, creating good chemistry and increasing the bond between the students and the teachers. After each event, various students have commented to hold the event again because they loved it that much!  

During Athletics Carnival, we had sooooooo many students going above and beyond to participate in the event. Many Hakean students supported the House by wearing our House colour. As the day went by, we had a plethora of students willing to participate in events and fight for victory.  

Winter is coming – CHESS!!  

In winter, we plan on creating a chess club to improve students’ problem-solving skills and decision-making skills.  

We'd like to thank our Hakean representatives, Julie and Anna, for their efforts in rallying younger Hakean students to support and participate in the events. Their efforts create an amazing and incredibly fun environment for our younger Hakean students.
