Eucalyptus House
Being a shorter term, we knew this term would be very busy and challenging for both staff and students. At each hurdle, our Eucalyptus staff and students have managed to persevere and make the most of each day.
Students have started to settle after a very long Term 1 and are now slowly getting into the rhythm of being back at school full time. Our SRC Students have been busy planning away for activities and events they are wanting to host this year and we cannot wait to see the outcome of this hard work. After two years of lockdown, it is great to see these school community events back up and running.
This term we also had our annual Athletics carnival. Although we didn't win, we had some brilliant performances from our students with some even becoming the age group champions (most first place positions in events) as seen below.
- 14 year male champion: Hadi MH
- 16 year male champion: Hur Ali D
- 20 year male champion: Sahel S
A special mention to the following students who came first in their events!
- Sevdim B - 13 yr male, 1500m and 100m
- Analeisha M - 13 yr female, Shot put
- Larmika S - 16 yr female, 1500m
- Ali R - 20 yr male, Javelin
- Mehdi H - 15 yr male, 200m. Mehdi also supported the 16 yr male relay team to victory!
We are very proud of our students efforts this term and can't wait to see how they grow the rest of the year.
