Volleyball Tournament

On Wednesday 26/5, the Year 11 VET Sport and Rec students combined with students from the Newly Arrived Program to run a volleyball tournament. As part of their ongoing assessment, the VET students organised the NAP students into teams, ran warm ups and joined in to play the tournament with them. The VET students demonstrated exceptional leadership throughout the session. 

Although an interpreter was present, Hussain S (C11) used his interpreter skills throughout the session to support the students in understanding instructions.  It was fantastic to see these students build connections. 

The NAP students are already eager for their next session with the VET students, and the VET students just as eager.
