The Carnival of the Animals

On Thursday the 19th of May, the New Arrivals and Year 8 Music students of Dandenong High School went to the Carnival of the Animals. The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra presented Carnival of the Animals. Our dress code was full school uniform.

We arrived there at 10am by bus. When we arrived, we saw a beautiful theatre called Hamer Hall. There were so many students from different grades and schools.

When we went to the theatre, the music had already started and we heard the beautiful music from the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. We had so much fun! They also had some puppets which made me laugh. My favourite scene from that carnival was the scene about Koala.

The performance finished at 12pm. Then we went to a food court at Southgate and had some lunch there. We also had a look at the river and saw the city. At 1pm, we rode the bus and arrived back at school at 2pm.

In conclusion, I want to add that I had so much fun and it was a great experience. Thank you DHS for giving me the opportunity to hear the beautiful music from the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.
