Last term I had the pleasure of announcing our March Aussies of the Month. Well done to the April recipients!
Please see below what teachers at LNPS had to say about our most recent recipients.
Haris Karlis from Torrens
"Haris is an exceptional student that is very deserving of this award. His entertaining character brings so much laughter and joy to the classroom. Haris is an outstanding learner that always strives for his personal best. He continues to shock me with his extensive knowledge of topics beyond his year level (such as elements of the periodic table!). Haris is
helpful, encouraging and motivated inside and outside of the classroom. He consistently demonstrates the school values and aims high in everything he does. Congratulations Haris, you have a very bright and happy future ahead of you!"
Miss Bruorton
Japjot Singh from Mellor
"Japjot is a kind and caring individual and a focussed learner.. He always listens carefully to others and shows the school values in everything he does. Japjot is always keen to participate and takes pride in his learning, persisting at all times to aim high and do his very best. Japjot has beautiful manners and shows respect at all times to everyone he works with. He greets everyone with a smile and is the person who stops to ask you how you are. He is an excellent role model to his peers and a very deserving recipient of the Aussie of the Month award."
Frau Edwards
Harrison Juraszek from Fisher
"Harrison is an outstanding member of the Fisher team. He comes to school with a smile on his face, ready to learn and always gives 100% effort to everything he does. He upholds all of the school values consistently and is willing to help whoever all of the time. Keep aiming high Harrison, I am sure you will have a highly successful future! Well done."
Miss Moore
On Friday week 1, the 2022 Student Ambassador group met for a 'meet and greet'. I had the pleasure of facilitating this event. The meet and greet provided everyone in the group with an opportunity to introduce themselves and discuss goals and visions that they have for the 2022 school year. Ideas raised included: fundraising for charities, organising active lunch, making our yard cleaner, and the list goes on!
I am excited to work with the 2022 Student Ambassadors and I am confident that they will work hard to contribute positively to our wonderful school community.
