We've asked our Year 3 and 4 teachers to answer a few questions so you can get to know them better!
Meagan O'Sullivan - 3A
What is the best thing about being a teacher at Kismet Park?
I was a teacher at a very small school before coming to work at Kismet, we only had 60 kids in the entire school. So working at a big school has been wonderful, all the amazing, kind and caring students – having kids saying ‘hello’ to you on yard duty, and all the wonderful staff at Kismet has made it an amazing place to work.
Do you have a favourite author/book? Why is it your favourite?
My favourite book is Tomorrow When the War Began series. I read it as a teenager and have read the series many, many times.
What are your hobbies?
I love playing Netball, doing jigsaw puzzles and watching TV series.
If you could only eat 1 meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I have the biggest sweet tooth in the world, so I would eat Sticky Date Pudding
If you were a superhero, what powers would you have?
If I was a superhero, I would love to have the power to be able to talk to animals

What is the best thing about being a teacher at Kismet Park? The best thing about being a teacher at Kismet Park is the supportive staff sharing their knowledge and expertise. Also, the caring community who support us to succeed and achieve the best learning outcomes for the students.
Do you have a favourite author/book? Why is it your favourite? My favourite author as a child was Enid Blyton, The Magic Faraway Tree. The characters were enchanting, a playful read full of creative imagination & magic!
What are your hobbies? My hobbies include being a taxi driver to my three wonderful children, going to the gym, being creative & gardening.
If you could only eat 1 meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? If I could only eat one meal for the rest of my life it would be Vegetable Lasagna.
If you were a superhero, what powers would you have? If I was a superhero, I would choose invisibility so I could play pranks on people or the ability to fly so I could go anywhere, anytime.

What is the best thing about being a teacher at Kismet Park?
I have been at KPPS for a month now and I already feel like a part of the family as I feel very welcomed by the students, their families, and staff. I feel happy about my new journey. :)
Do you have a favourite author/book? Why is it your favourite?
I really enjoy Paul Jennings as the stories are very funny and entertaining. Some of the stories are also "Round the Twist" episodes which I really enjoyed as a child.
What are your hobbies?
I love running, hiking, cooking healthy food and enjoying the outdoors with my family. 🙂
If you could only eat 1 meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I love healthy food, so I would eat seafood, sweet potato mash or chips and sourdough bread.
If you were a superhero, what powers would you have?
I would like to have the ability to fly, so I could travel anywhere around the world.

What is the best thing about being a teacher at Kismet Park?
After 11 eleven years working at Kismet Park, the best thing about being a teacher here would be the wonderful, caring, and supportive community we have. I’m grateful to be working in a great school!
Do you have a favourite author/book? Why is it your favourite?
My Favourite book is ‘The Giving Tree’ by Shel Siverstein. It was first read to me by my favourite teacher in primary school. It’s a book that deeply moves me, regardless of how many times I read it.
What are your hobbies?
I love doing anything crafty. When I young, my mum taught me how to crochet. In my spare time I crochet, blankets, beanies, and scarves, which I sell locally.
If you could only eat 1 meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Mmmm… hot chips and gravy, especially on a cold Winter’s Day.
If you were a superhero, what powers would you have?
Teleportation – I could go anywhere I wanted. Discover the Treasures of the Nile in Egypt or cruise down the Mediterranean and take in the wonders of the iconic sights in Europe. If only…..

What is the best thing about being a teacher at Kismet Park?
The best thing about being a teacher at Kismet Park is the staff and the students. It has been amazing being able to get to know, build relationships and learn off the amazing Kismet Park community.
Do you have a favourite author/book? Why is it your favourite?
My favourite author is Dav Pilkey. I grew up reading all the Captain Underpants book when I was in primary school. It is crazy for me to see that he is still writing new books and that students in my class are reading them!!
What are your hobbies?
Outside of work I love my music and sport. I listen to music as much as I possibly can and go to many music concerts. I also play both basketball and cricket in Sunbury!
If you could only eat 1 meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?Easy decision to make. Large Zinger Box, substituting the gravy for an extra serving of chips. Extra salt and a Mountain Dew. If you were a superhero, what powers would you have? If I were a superhero, I would want the power of teleportation. Being able to get away to any place in the blink of an eye or go on day trips overseas would be super fun!

What is the best thing about being a teacher at Kismet Park?
The best thing about being a teacher at Kismet Park are the amazing students and teachers I get to work with every day!
Do you have a favourite author/book? Why is it your favourite?
My favourite book is Matilda by Roald Dahl, because it was the first novel I ever picked up and read all by myself. I love the way that Roald Dahl writes and makes you feel like you are IN the story.
What are your hobbies?
My hobbies are Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu – I’ve been training for over 18 years, and watching the footy…Go Dogs!
If you could only eat 1 meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
It would definitely have to be four cheese gnocchi – I could eat it every day.
If you were a superhero, what powers would you have?
I would have the power to teleport to anywhere in the world in the blink of an eye!
