House and Lively Learning

Virtual Cross Country Update

It is safe to say that the Cranbourne South spirit has shone through during remote learning. Over 140 students thus far have taken up the challenge of completing the Virtual Cross Country. It has been a pleasure watching all the videos that have been submitted along with the countless photos showcasing the students' support for their house. If you have not uploaded your results please go to Physical Vibe - Virtual Cross Country page and submit by 4pm Friday 5th June.

Stay tuned for the announcement of our overall winning house along with the grade that had the most participants.

Foundation, Grade 1 & Grade 2 Physical Vibe lessons

We have had so much fun at school the past two weeks during our weekly sport sessions. A highlight for the students has been the warm up 'Which would you rather challenge?' where students have to choose from two options and then complete a set fitness exercise. We have then progressed to a variety of stations where students are practising locomotive movements such as walking, skipping, hopping, leaping, dodging and side stepping. These skills build coordination and form the basis of movement sequences required when playing a variety of games.

It has been so great to hear them cheering on their peers and having fun!

Grade 3 - Grade 6 - I need your help!

It has been very quiet without you at school, I am looking forward to seeing all of your happy faces next week. Before then I would love it if you could complete the Physical Vibe Remote Learning Survey, which is located on the Google site. This will enable me to see what you enjoyed about remote learning, what you would like to do in term 3 and reflect on way has been an unusual time for all of us.
