Grade 3 Newsletter

Welcome back everyone!  We are so happy to be back at school again. 

Firstly, we must say a huge thank you for all of your support with our home/ remote learning! Isolation was a challenging time but we were able to work together to get through it. 

The Grade Three teachers are filled with pride for all of our students for their dedication and efforts with continuing their school work during this time. We have been so impressed with the work output, attitude and patience of everyone. We must acknowledge and celebrate the efforts of all families! We couldn't have done this without each of you. You have all been brilliant!

English-

We have been learning more about Poetry and how to develop and write different poems. We have also begun a research project about a country of choice. The students are using their research to write an information report. 

Maths-

We are  currently exploring  the topic of Measurement. We have looked closely at Perimeter and Area. Students have been provided with hands-on opportunities to explore different ways of measuring. 

Science -

We have been exploring the topic of Science. Each class is conducting experiments which has been exciting and fun. The students are learning how to write a Science report.
