Kinder Enrolment for 2021

If you have a child that you expect to commence Kinder in 2021 please contact the Registrar via jdavis@bhcs.vic.edu.au as soon as possible to ensure your child's name is on our Application List.

School Photo Day

School photo day has been rebooked for Tuesday, September 1, 2020.

Information will be sent to families closer to the time.

Intermediate Band

The Intermediate Band is the place for students who've had at least one semester playing an instrument and can read music, at least at a basic level. It is our aim to give students a taste of playing an instrument, with the undisguised hope that they will catch the passion of playing music.

We meet on Thursday lunch times in M1 Room.

Students who join must have their own instrument. Should you require further information in regards to sourcing an instrument please contact the music department via dthompson@bhcs.vic.edu.au who will be able to recommend some excellent suppliers.

We see the bands as a wonderful way for students to feel connected to the school and their learning!

Student ID Cards

As you are aware, because School Photo Day did not take place earlier this year, we were not able to distribute Student ID Cards for students in Yrs 5 to 12.

In order to assist families in the interim, until School Photo Day for 2020 takes place, we have been able to organise temporary ID cards for all students in Years 5 to 12 who were present at School Photo Day 2019.

Unfortunately, we were not able to organise cards for any students who were not there on this day. These cards will be distributed to students at School over the next week or so.

Student Reports Update

A friendly reminder to parents that reports for Prep to Year 10 students will be emailed home to families over the School Holidays, and possibly into the first weeks of Term 3.

Reports for all Year 11 and 12 students will be emailed home early in Term 3. This is in order to accommodate all the changes that have been implemented as a result of the COVID-19 crisis.

For more information regarding the changes to reports for Semester 1, 2020, please see the relevant email that was sent to families. Alternatively, this information can be found on Flexibuzz.

Should you believe that you have not received this information, please feel free to contact the School's Reception, and we'd be happy to assist you. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this information, please contact the Head of Learning and Innovation, Dave Hughes via dhughes@bhcs.vic.edu.au
