buildings and grounds committee term 2

Interesting times indeed as the school community responds to the COVID-19 pandemic...

Buildings and Grounds are working closely with the School and School Council to enhance hand hygiene protocols including increased hand washing capacity and extensive roll out of hand sanitising equipment.  The weekly yard tidies remain ongoing during the partial closure with the main building, productive garden and Sprout garden given some much needed love over previous weeks.  Our thanks to the parents and carers that have taken the time to lend a hand - particularly in the poor weather!  Rejuvenation of the Woodland is commencing this week with the planting of native trees in designated areas.  This is the first step in works that will ramp up in the second half of the year.  We are awaiting further advice regarding when to schedule the next working bee - we’ll give everyone plenty of notice as there will be lots of jobs to do…

Stay safe everyone and my thanks to the committee members who have lent their time, effort and expertise to our school projects during these difficult times.
