3-4 S.A.K.G

S.A.K.G News

Whilst the students engaged in Remote Online Learning, we have been busy tidying the garden, built gates with the HOL staff, made a compost heap, painted signs and planted seeds.

Students returned to the kitchen this week with stringent hygiene measures in place. We cooked hearty soups to use winter vegetables from the garden and practised kneading skills to make wholemeal bread rolls.

Some students said the food were “the best they ever tasted!” To access our yummy recipes, please go Families & Communities/ SAKG Recipes.

Volunteers Needed !!

Lastly, massive gratitude to our wonderful volunteers who supported the Year 4 students during Semester One. Your time, effort and patience is highly valued. We hope you enjoyed the healthy eating journey with our students.

The Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program is looking for volunteers in Semester Two to cook or garden with our Year 3 students. If you are interested, please contact Ms Crossman or your child’s Year 3 home group teacher.
