Dear Families,

I wish to thank and congratulate everyone for the new routine developed for dropping off and collecting students from Prep – Year Two this week. Families arrived during the

recommended times (8.35 Year 2 students, 8.40 Year 1, 8.45 Preps and families with more than one child) and the KISS and GO parking was utilised. The children have settled back in and are thrilled to see friends and teachers. It is natural to feel a mix of excitement and anxiety after such a long period of home learning.

A reminder that if your child presents with a fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, sneezing, shortness of breath or breathing difficulties, they must not attend school. They must remain home and seek medical advice if necessary.

Dismissal Times

3.00pm all siblings from Prep, One and Two (including those in the same year level, ie:

twins, triplets) are dismissed.

3.05pm Preps students are dismissed.

3.15pm Year 1 students are dismissed.

3.25pm Year 2 students are dismissed.

A special thank you to the Stringer family for their generous donation of hand sanitiser this week.

Please note that Instrumental lessons have recommenced for Prep-2 students and onsite Year 3-6 students.

Kiss and Go

This week we commenced the Kiss and Go

along the Bank Street frontage of the school. There are new parking bay lines that have been marked out. It is important to note that this area is now a 2 minute drop off only and replaces the 5 minute parking between 8:35am-9:00am Monday to Friday.

For Child Safety, children must stay as close as possible to your vehicle as they make their way to the footpath. It is suggested that bags be kept inside the car to avoid having to access the car boot.

If there are no available spaces in the Kiss and Go zone for your vehicle, please continue to do a lap around the block until a space becomes available. This will avoid traffic jams and congestion.

We are trialing this to ease traffic congestion around the school. This should hopefully allow for a smoother start to the school day. We currently have 15 spaces available.

Congratulations!

Congratulations to Miss Fahy and her partner Kyle on their engagement over the weekend! We wish you all the best with all of your planning for your big day.
