AT HOME READING PREP - 2

To encourage and celebrate students to develop consistent home reading efforts, Prep to Year 2 students will receive certificates for milestone achievements. Please remember to continue recording and signing your child's nightly reading so they can be recognised when they reach these milestones. 

MILESTONES

30 nights and 45 nights - handed out by classroom teachers

60 nights, 90 nights, 120 nights, 145 and 180  nights - handed out at Assemblies

Build a love of reading in your child by reading aloud at home to strengthen their language, vocabulary and comprehension skills, and improve their social skills and confidence as you listen to them read.

AWARDS FOR LITERACY PRO QUIZZES 3-6

To encourage and celebrate students to develop consistent sustained reading and comprehension skills, students from Years 3 - 6 will receive certificates for milestone achievements. These will be based on successful completion of Literacy Pro comprehension quizzes based on their book. 

MILESTONES

Red and Blue certificates will be handed out in classrooms and Bronze, Silver and Gold certificates will be handed out at assemblies.
