Canteen

Hi everyone

It's hard to believe that we are almost on holidays! Term 1 has flown by....

 

On Monday we had our SRC 'Be Hoppy and Be Kind' Easter Bento lunch. I would like to thank the following helpers; without them the day would not be possible:

Lauren B, Kristy P, Debbie H-G,  Jenine K, Debbie H, Sue K and Denis K.

The Easter Bunny even delivered lunches to the students who were absent (thanks Kristy) ;)

We sent out over 200 orders and the canteen raised $208.50 for the SRC to pass onto the Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal.

Absences on Special Event days:

If your child is absent on the day of a canteen special event, their order will be supplied where possible on the next canteen day that they are at school. Unfortunately, due to ordering and making the items in advance, cancellations and refunds are not able to be processed after the order cut-off date. Thankyou for your understanding.

 

The last day of Canteen for Term 1 will be Tuesday 4th April. On Thursday, I will begin 

preparations for our Winter menu, making Lasagne, Pumpkin Soup and Butter Chicken with Jasmine Rice. All are homemade with hidden veg. Super yummy and very healthy. The soup and butter chicken are also Gluten Free.

 

To comply with our healthy food initiative, I will be swapping Zooper Doopers for Berri Quelch Fruit Tubes as of Tuesday 4th April. The Berri tubes are made with 99% fruit juice and will sell for $1.

 

I would really love a few extra helpers in Term 2. Please contact me at - wendy.schilling@education.vic.gov.au if you hold a current WWCC (or are happy to apply for one - they're free for volunteers!) and are able to help out.
