Kai and Talanoa Evening:

Feedback from a mum:

Dear Ash,

I hope you've had a great week so far. As always it is a pleasure to be part of the wonderful WHS Family. It certainly goes without saying, not just the mention of the word "Family" but the feeling of family is always prominent throughout this school.

Moreover, the Kai and Talanoa evening held on 23 February is certainly a reflection of that. Given the interruptions of all sorts we have had over the last few years, it was refreshing to receive your warm invitation in bringing our community together for a fun, interactive and meaningful evening.

Of course, “food brings people together”, so mingling over delicious food, and meeting and greeting both new and familiar parents of WHS was certainly heart-warming.

I can probably say on behalf of all parents, it was also much appreciated and so nice to be greeted as usual with a warm welcome as you enter the school and have our children taken care of for the evening.

Thank you so much for a very interactive, well-organised and well-planned evening. The group discussions were not only inclusive but informative and meaningful. Should I say fun too with a bit of banter between parents and teachers 😊.

So, I thank you again for sharing your vision, ideas and beliefs and including us all to collectively come together to share ours. I look forward to hearing the discussions you've had with your leadership team in putting this into practice.

Have a wonderful rest of the week.

Kind regards,

Aarti
