PFA Committee 2023

Last night the PFA Annual General Meeting for 2023 was held.  Many thanks to those members that attended and voted, as well as to Karen Roberts for attending, and chairing election of new committee members.

We are delighted to welcome the following office bearers to the committee for 2023:

President - Sandra Michela (Mum of Max and Camila in grade 5)

Treasurer - Sanaa Radion (Mum of Zaphira in grade 1 and Zachariah in grade 2)

Secretary - Lee Vu (Mum of Adeline in grade 2 and Audrey in grade 4)

School Council Representative - Solmaz Moslehi (Mum of Maya in grade 1)

Many thanks to these new office bearers, as well as all other PFA members, in advance for their contribution this year!

PFA would also like to thank 2 outgoing members: Sandra Rowlands, our Food Coordinator guru. Sandra’s  commitment over her many years at PFA has ensured the enjoyment of many activities. Sandra is already missed!  Karen Phillips, who has been the treasurer for many, many years. Karen’s knowledge, commitment and attitude to work in a team, her eye for detail and diligence has made the PFA a great place to volunteer and achieve.

If you are interested in the wrap up of 2022 for the PFA, you can read the 2022 Annual Report and the 2022 Financial Report that were tabled at last night’s AGM.

Become a PFA member and / or get involved

PFA membership is free and open to any school parent or supporter.  Please complete the 2023 PFA membership registration form on Qkr if you are interested in receiving information from the PFA, such as meeting agendas and minutes (it will also entitle you to vote at meetings).  It only takes a couple of minutes to complete the registration form.

We need lots of hands on deck to make PFA events a success - and volunteering to help out is a great way to bring fun events to life for the students, connect with other parents, and to get a glimpse into primary school life!

You can see some of our Term 1 volunteering opportunities, and sign up for those that suit you, here - https://signup.com/go/rfQFDNp (it's super easy, and you will not need to register an account or keep a password on signup.com).  These opportunities are constantly updated as new activities are organised, so please check back regularly.

We understand that everyone’s lives are busy and appreciate whatever time and support parents are able to offer.
