Careers Corner

The Careers section of the newsletter is the main source of information and communication on career opportunities. Mrs Lemon will forward to each newsletter, all university newsletters sent to her, plus any other information that may be of interest to particular students.

On Thursday 16/3/23 the College welcomed the UNE Rural Health team to the Library during the lunch hour. They gave a powerpoint presentation, centering on Medicine but, what was said was also relevant to other Allied Health fields. The  team also gave practical demonstrations, eg. the use of the stethoscope, to our Year 11-12 students.

They finished with a Kahoots Quiz, featuring questions that had arisen during the presentation. The three lucky winners were Ava Vaughn, Alexis Cook and Caleb Dubois- Bender. The prizes were very generous and included tee shirts, an anatomy textbook and a nursing kit.

The students and the College thanks the UNE team for such an engaging and fun presentation.
