As we look forward to celebrate 175 years of the first Church in Armidale, I look back on what was and what is...
The original Chapel was out the front of the office and as seen in the old birds eye view it was next to a road which ran from Erskine St, through the College, to the south, it was called Chapel Street.
The wooden Chapel lasted till the early 20's and then in 1955 our beautiful Chapel was built by the Burton family and locals. The photos and the story from the 55 magazine has some great photos and it's clear there wasn't much as far as OH and S going on.
