Meet the Staff

Hi my name is Robbie, I graduated from Open College with a Certificate IV in Youth Work and I work predominately in blue classroom. I chose this field of study as I've always had a passion for mental health and believe it is an important aspect of our individuality. Research shows a lot of youths today struggle with their mental health and other life issues; I find it rewarding that I can support young people in an attempt to improve their quality of life. Plenty River College has given me the                                           opportunity to work alongside people with a wide variety of needs.

My name is Joshua Kayll, teacher of the Blue group. I first began teaching at Diamond Valley Learning Centre in 2019. Prior to that, I was assisting at the school as an education aide. Straight away, I was drawn to the nature of the school and how we can better support students with their individualised needs. I get a lot of satisfaction seeing our students grow in confidence and gaining a sense of belonging at our school. Seeing them reach their educational goals and graduating, ready to go out in the world to work or study, is something I want for all of my students.
