Trades

Students are continuing to work on their competencies and major projects. It has been pleasing to see the progress being made and the quality of work being produced. Everyone has settled into routine and the Year 12’s are all focussed on getting their work completed which is pleasing to see at this early stage of the year.

The Year 11's enjoyed their Trade Tour Tour of Macmahon, Proform and Bruce Rock Engineering which exposed students to industry practices and to help prepare them for workplace expectations.

Some points of interest, a robotic welder, CNC laser cutter at BRE, large scale machines at Macmahon's and the CNC machine at Proform.
