Media and Technologies

We are implementing a very exciting new program at Karoo called Seesaw. Seesaw is a platform for students to share, collaborate, engage and reflect on their learning. 

It will allow students work to be viewed and commented on by their family, class and teachers who will provide support, feedback and encouragement in an instant via a smart phone or desktop app. While this aspect will be launched in the coming terms, the students have been busy being introduced to the app inside Media during Term 1.

Students across the whole school have been learning how to login to their profiles, create and post their work to their personal portfolios. This has included digital images and art along with the wonderful podcasts that have been created.

Seesaw is going to change and enhance how our community is able to access your children's learning and we can't wait for you to be able to see more of the wonderful work that our students create at Karoo.
