BOOK OF THE WEEK

The following books were recently featured in our Book of the Week display:

Hamlet is not OK

by R. A. Spratt

Selby hates homework. She would rather watch TV - anything to escape the tedium of school, her parents' bookshop, and small-town busybodies. So, Selby didn't plan to read Hamlet. She certainly never planned to meet him. This novel transports Selby, and the reader, into the cold and crime-ridden play itself.

Threads that bind

by Kika Hatzopoulou

Inspired by Greek mythology, Threads that bind combines fantasy, mystery, romance and myth. In a world where the children of the gods inherit their powers, Io, a descendant of the Greek Fates, must solve a series of impossible murders to save her sisters, her soulmate, and her city.

EAST CAMPUS

The bookshelves at East Campus now contain more than 1000 books. Students can grab a book to read from the shelves and return the book when they are finished the book. There is a mix of fiction, non-fiction, and also graphic novels.

The books at Main Campus Library are also available to students based at East Campus. Students may place reservations via the library catalogue.

ONLINE ENCYCLOPEDIAS

I would like to take this opportunity to remind students and families about the two online encyclopedias that are accessible through the library's catalogue. The World Book Online encyclopedia is a trusted source of information for students of all ages, with articles, videos, and other multimedia resources. The Encyclopedia Britannica is also available, which provides comprehensive and authoritative information on a wide range of topics.
