Welcome back to school for Term 4! We are looking forward to the staged return to school and to seeing you all again.

OSHClub remains open for Before and After School Care for the children of essential workers and vulnerable children if also attending school.

Any bookings that were already in the system prior to the lockdown, and that are no longer needed, have been marked as absent. There will be no charge to families for any bookings that are marked as absent during the period of the current lockdown.

We want to reassure you that the health and safety of all children in our care remains our top priority. We continue to follow all directives received from the Government to ensure best practice is adhered to in the management of COVID-19. Our COVID-19 Risk Assessment is available to view at the service.

Pupil Free Day - Mon 11th Oct

We will be running a day of care on Monday 11th October 2021.

The session will run all day from 7.00am to 6.00pm at the cost of $64.00 (before any applicable Child Care Subsidy).

How to book:

Please log in to your account online at www.oshclub.com.au and book in under the Pupil Free Day Room.

Please note that bookings cannot be made online within 5 days of the session commencing. In order to book within this period, you will need to contact the service directly on 0427144945.

What to bring: Please bring morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. Please also make sure your child/children bring a sun smart hat with them.

Sun Smart Policy

When the UV rating is at 3 or above, all children will need to wear a hat and sunscreen when playing outdoors.

Hats: Please make sure children bring a sun smart hat with them. You are welcome to send along a spare hat, which can be stored at OSHClub in our hat tub.

Sunscreen: Sunscreen provided by the service has a minimum SPF of 30+ as determined by the Cancer Council. We use Coles brand sunscreen. If you're child is sensitive to this brand, please let us know and send an alternative sunscreen with them.

Parent Information

Enrolling Your Child

For new enrolments, please go to www.oshclub.com.au. There you will find the 'Register Your Child' tab under the 'Families' tab. This will take you to the iParent Portal account sign up page. Once signed up, search for Mount Pleasant Road OSHClub under the 'Find a Place' tab and follow the instructions. Once your enrolment is complete it will be forwarded to the service for review.

Drop off and Pick Up Procedure

Please continue to come to the OSHClub room door to drop off or pick up your children. Please also ensure that you are wearing a mask. If you need to enter the room to support your child's transition to or from OSHClub, please scan the displayed Victorian Government QR Code.

QR codes are required to be used by all visitors who enter indoor spaces, including:

all parents and carers.
all visitors, including contractors and external OSHClub staff.

When does the QR code need to be used?

As part of our COVID-19 risk management plan, an OSHClub staff member will continue to sign children in and out on the iPad until further notice.

Cancellation of Bookings

IMPORTANT: If your child is booked in for an after school care session and that booking is no longer required, please cancel the booking on the iParent Portal. If you are cancelling on the day, please contact us on the program phone before 3:15pm.

We are responsible for all children booked into our care. If a child does not arrive to after school care when booked in to attend, we will need to confirm the whereabouts of the child by contacting parents/guardians and emergency contacts. If we cannot successfully do this, it then becomes a missing child incident and will need to be referred to police.

As you can imagine, this can be very stressful!

Online bookings for each session close 24 hours in advance.
