Jack and Harry, two of our ‘lockdown loving’ crew have just become chicken owners. Could we raise chooks and then permanently adopt them out to families mmm 🤔? Check out these pictures. They’re some very lucky guinea pigs 🌈😍🙏.

Our reptiles are waking up after a sleepy winter. Prince Phillip and Queen Elizabeth were seen hanging out together Thursday afternoon and last Saturday one of our much loved turtles Louise (snotty back and all) was sun baking in the shallows of the pond.

They’re back after a long, cold winter 🥰.

The world famous garden show was a smash hit again this week. We had Mrs Stefanic playing air guitar and she was actually pretty good 🎸🤟. Damo was rather impressed! Is there anything she cannot do 🤪. We also checked out Bobs bee blackboard. Great information on pollination Bob you’re the best 🙄. He sure does love B’s, bees, bread, baked beans, backward berets, baseball, bricks, black boards, broccoli ……..

Professor Pete’s turned pescatarian on us and is suggesting some king prawns from the Spencer Gulf in South Australia would go down a treat on the table at Christmas this year. He did also mention to order them early so as not to miss out. Great advise thanks Pete.

With the days getting longer all our vegetables are growing well. The corn is in and shooting up, pumpkins have been planted and tomatoes are being grown from seed in the hothouse. They’re almost ready to be taken outside and put into the garden beds. We are trying a whole range of companion planting. The garden beds, herb tyre garden and prep planter boxes are full of Marigolds, Echinacea, Calendula and Chamomile. They’re sure to bring the good bugs  in ❤️🌻.

In loving memory of Caviar who died of a suspected spider bite 😔💜🙏.
