Principal's Update

All Students return to full-time, onsite classes tomorrow!  To support the transition back to school please remember to pack hats and ensure there is additional food packed in lunch boxes.  Our students are very active and are burning up lots of excited energy!

Thank you to all families for their support with the use of masks in school.  We are very impressed with the response from students and the responsibility they have taken in managing their masks.  To reduce waste, where possible, please provide your child with a named reusable mask.  Parents/carers whose child is unable to wear a face mask due to the nature of their disability, medical or mental health condition are asked to please advise the school in writing.

Unfortunately, the return of school, has also resulted in reports of  head lice!  All families are asked to please check their child's hair regularly and to treat as required.

A reminder that at this time, only essential visitors are allowed onsite.  Assemblies and other school events are also not allowed at this time.  We really appreciate your support in limiting the number of people onsite and ask that, wherever possible, that you please continue to drop off and pick up at the school gate.   As of the 18th of October, there are also news rules for volunteers in schools.  Please see the Volunteering page for more information.

This week, all students participated in a special Musica Viva Performance – Taking Shape by Topology. This online and interactive incursion explored the way in which musicians used their instruments to create compositions.

While School Band rehearsals are cancelled until further notice,  band and ukulele lessons have resumed.  For more information about lessons, please refer to these pages.

After weeks of waiting, the much-anticipated Book Week Celebrations can now be held. Next Friday the 29th of October, we will be celebrating Book Week with a Parade and Book Fair. Students are encouraged to come dressed as their favourite story-book characters.  During the day, they will also have an opportunity to purchase books from the Book Fair.  Please see the Book Week page for further information.

Please note that this term we will have two pupil free days.  A curriculum planning day will held on Monday 1st November and a Report Writing Day will be held on Monday 29th November. Parent/Teacher interviews will be held during the week of 22-26th November. Please view your compass calendar for important dates.
