Outdoor classrooms in action

This week we have begun learning and, when possible, headed outside to learn!

I commend the flexibility and enthusiasm our staff and students have shown. The outdoor Visual Arts lessons have been a great talking point around the school too!

COVID-19 Update: Returning very much to normal as of the 1st November!

A new edition of the Department’s Operations Guide has been released in preparation for Phase C of the State’s Roadmap out of COVID-19. The HUGE news is that we are returning very much to normal as of the 1st November!  Croydon Hills Primary School leaders will update the community as soon as plans have been made but in short:

  • K-P Transition and the State-wide 6-7 Transition Day (Tuesday 7th December) will go ahead!
  • School Tours for those 2022 Prep families that missed them are able to take place!
  • Year 6 Graduation will go ahead with up to 500 people seated outside followed by a student and staff ceremony!
  • Parents and carers are welcome onsite provided they comply with vaccination requirements (all school visitors must be double vaxxed), density limits, face mask requirements (not required outside), QR code check-ins and practise respiratory etiquette and good hand hygiene.

We’ll update you all via Compass over the coming weeks.

Thank you Jefferies (and Happy Birthday Carol and Robyn)

Croydon Hills Primary School proudly supports local businesses and they treat us too!

On their birthdays all staff receive a coffee and cake voucher for Jefferies – McAdam Square.  Pictured are Robyn and Carol heading for their October birthday cuppa!

REPEAT: Term 4 Curriculum Day (Report Writing) - Friday 19th November

A reminder, Friday 19th November will be a Pupil Free Day.
