Learning and Teaching 

This term our whole school learning focus is underpinned by our school value 'Community' aligned with the scripture 'Let the little children come to me.'

The two key learnings areas students from Prep to Year 6 will be delving into are History and Design and Technology, as well as Ethical capability. Below are the titles of inquiry units for each year level:

• Prep: My Story - Then and Now
• Year 1: Then and Now
• Year 2: Step in Time
• Year 3: Dreaming Now and Then
• Year 4: What's our story?
• Year 5: Record. Recall and Reflect
• Year 6: Decades of our Past

Zeno Sworder - Online Author/Illustrator Zoom Session

Next Thursday and Friday, all year levels will participate in a 45 minute online session with Zeno Sworder, who is the author and illustrator of the book 'This small Blue Dot.' Zeno was awarded best new illustrator this year from the Children's Book Council of Australia, which he wrote and drew with occasional input from his eldest daughter, who also stars as the main character. We can't wait to have the opportunity to be inspired by Zeno!
