Year 5 Cluster News

Remote Learning

As part of our STEM learning this term, year 5 will be exploring Indigenous Technologies and how they can be used to help us solve modern day problems.

Next Wednesday 13 October, Year 5 students will be constructing their own eel traps at home. This week we all explored our local environment to see what we could forage for our design.

We will be providing each child with an Eel Trap Pack that can be collected from school with the resources needed to build their eel trap.

From 2pm to 3pm on Tuesday 14 October, Thomson (and hopefully Frank) will be positioned in our school car park, by the uniform shop, with these packs ready for collection. Please feel free to walk, ride or drive through to collect yours. They will then be left at the front of the school if you can't make this time.

Lookout for more information from your class teacher next Monday.
