I'm really proud of myself this year!

I was clueless going into year 8, I didn't know how hard the work was going to be, but I slowly adjusted to it. I still make new friends till this day, new electives, more opportunities. Getting closer with my classmates and being more comfortable around them was something I never thought would happen. Excursions at the end of the year are something I really look forward to because it feels like an award for all my hard work and it is a time where I can have fun with my friends. 

Feeling proud is one of the best feelings to me. When I do work and I get a good score I always tell my parents about it so they know I do well in class, but most importantly I always have a moment to myself to just sit there and think about how the hard work is paying off. 

If you ever feel stressed it just means your brain is trying its hardest and you're not alone, it will eventually pay off.
