Book week is an amazing way to bring joy to readers. Book week is when schools and libraries spends 1 week bringing joy to readers by celebrating books and helping children to celebrate their favourite authors and illustrators. And in this fantastic week for young minds have the opportunity to read books in primary school and build their new knowledge whilst also growing their minds.
To help celebrate Book Week 2022, Albanvale Primary School held a parade. Students and teachers dressed up as their favourite book characters and displayed that within a special assembly. They were able to do a lap around the assembly at 9:10am. A member of each class was selected from a raffle. That person won prizes that included a variety of sporting balls such as Soccer Balls and Basketballs. This was an amazing event that was enjoyed by students, teachers and parents that were in attendance.
