ABC's Fire Safety Visit 

During the last week of Term 3, our ABCs students had a special visit from the local fire brigade. All our students were mesmerized by the gigantic firetruck parked on the front lawn!  Everyone had a turn putting on the helmet and climbing on the truck and some even got to sound the siren! It was a fun day for everyone. 

We're very grateful the fire brigade accepted our invitation to come and share with our ABCs students.  We asked them to come as part of a unit of learning about our community.  In particular, the ABCs have been learning about the different roles people have within our community as well as the importance each person’s contribution makes to the functioning and well-being of our community.
