Cycle 3 Student Progress Conferences will be conducted remotely on Thursday September 15th from 1.00 pm to 8.00 pm. This is a great opportunity for students, parents/guardians and teachers to discuss the progress of the student, to ask questions and to receive feedback that will be useful to put in place in Term 4.
Parents/Guardians need to log into Compass and use their Parent Portal to book appointment times.
Teachers will video call families via the student Teams account. Appointment are for five minutes duration. Students are expected to participate in the Conferences with their parents/guardians.
The Student Progress Conference bookings open at 5pm on Friday September 9th when the Cycle 3 reports are released to the families.
Cycle 3 reports can also be accessed via the Parent Portal on Compass.
Thursday September 15th is a pupil free day, no classes will be conducted however there will be SACs conducted for senior students including Unit 4 Physics, Geography and Psychology SAC’s.
The 2022 GAT will take place on Wednesday 7th September. All students who are enrolled in a Unit 3&4 VCE study or Unit 3&4 VCE VET study must undertake the GAT. Students are required to undertake two exams:
Students must remain at school between these two exams and a sausage sizzle will be put on for them by the Canteen.
More information about what the GAT is, why students are required to do the GAT and the rules of the GAT can be found in the PowerPoint uploaded to Compass as part of a Compass post on Friday 26th August, or on the GAT brochure (that students can collect from Ms Gerbing if they did not attend the meetings on Friday 26th Aug).
Students are allowed to wear free dress on this day.
