INSPIRING CURIOUS MINDS

FATHERS’ AND SPECIAL PERSONS’ BREAKFAST

What a beautiful morning we had yesterday, celebrating our dads and other special people in our kids’ lives. Thank you to Steve, Steph, Francine, Michael and Sonia for your thoughtful organisation. Thanks too to Mel, Scott, Freya and everyone else who pitched in to help out. And of course, to our wonderful MC, Miss Michael! Paper planes were thrown, jokes were told, sausages, eggs and bacon were eaten, but best of all, we had a lovely time as a community!

PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE DAY

Today we had a very productive professional practice day. Our classroom teachers worked as professional learning communities to analyse student data and work samples, and to begin planning Term 4’s learning programs. Our education support staff engaged in professional learning in both inclusive practices and literacy support.

SCHOOL PERFORMANCE

Our School Performance is only 2 weeks away!

The students are so excited! We practised in the gym this week for the first time. The classes saw where they are going to perform, how to get on and off the performance area and where they'll sit to watch the rest of the show. We even used some microphone stands.

We can't wait to perform for you! Thanks for your support.  Mrs Paech

Performance Date: Thursday, 15th September

Time: 2.45pm to approximately 4.15pm

Where: Gymnasium – entry to the school will be at 2.45, through the gym gate only

Bring: your own chair

Children who are booked in, will head straight to TheirCare after the performance

To simplify the organisation, we have decided to move away from a ticketing system. We have the capacity for 2 members of each family to attend. We ask you to keep to the limit, regardless of how many children you have at school. Younger children who sit on your lap, do not need to be included in your numbers. As a growing school, we don’t have seating for up to 500 people and therefore ask you to bring your own chair (slimline camp chair or the like). I would also encourage you to wear a face mask given we will be indoors and unable to socially distance. We are very thankful to have Mrs Paech who has gone above and beyond to make this inaugural performance happen. So exciting!
