Sports Update

Intermediate Boy's/Girl's Badminton

A big congratulations to our boys Intermediate Badminton Team who won in convincing fashion last Friday. Good luck at the Regionals in Term 3! The boys all showed great skill and teamwork during the day. Well done to the girls team who won their first game but lost their second. They too showed great teamwork and effort throughout the day.

Senior Boys’ Basketball

Our first inter-school sport day of the year saw our Senior Boys Basketball Team head out to Coburg Basketball Stadium.  With a full 5 game fixture, our boys were in for a big day.  They won their first 3 games with some impressive offence and defence, then fell short in the next 2 games against some quality competition.  With so many skills and highlights on show, it made for an entertaining day!

They gave their best effort all day and should be commended on their teamwork. Great work boys!

Intermediate Boys and Girls Cricket

On a chilly summer day, the Year 9 and 10 Boys and Girls Cricket Teams competed in the Moonee Valley Division Sport Competition.  Both teams were eager to impress and keen for success.

Throughout the day the cricket was competitive and intense, both the girls and boys represented the College with pride and determination. We commend all participants and helpers for their efforts, unfortunately both teams did not prevail and won’t be going into the next round.

A big well done to some excellent players – Anoosha Thambi, Destiny Jones, Tori Foster, Connor Mundy, Taine Beattie, Advay Sharma
