School and Kindergarten PFA Meeting

The next PFA meeting will be confirmed in the next newsletter.  We would like to invite all parents to come along, partake in afternoon tea, have a cuppa, meet some new friends and share your ideas.  Could existing committee members please bring along someone new to the meeting. Toddlers most welcome.

WE NEED YOUR HELP: ONLY 10 MORE VOLUNTEERS REQUIRED PLEASE

6am-10am – 5 volunteers

3pm-5.30pm – 5 volunteers

Thank you to everyone who has volunteered their time for this fundraiser.  Many hands make light  work!

A short information session will be held on Thursday 21st November from 2.40pm in Cafe 1739 for all volunteers so I can run through a few details regarding SpringFest.  If you cannot attend but have questions, please do not hesitate to leave your details at the office and I will get back to you.  Thank you, Alyson

 

As beneficiaries of SpringFest Ballarat, Miners Rest Primary School and Kindergarten need to provide the Market Sunday with volunteers.  We are now asking for volunteers to help out on Sunday 24th November from 6am-5pm.  If you can help, please leave your details at the School Office.  All volunteers are entitled to a free parking permit for the parking around the lake on the day at SpringFest.

 

Details:

  • Sunday 24th November;
  • Areas J, K, L, M, R & S – next to Piper’s Restaurant and going around to the Olympic Rings;
  • We will require volunteers from 6am-5pm;
  • No experience necessary – simply guiding people if they are looking for a particular area/toilet/lost, picking up rubbish/emptying bins.

We also require two 3-person teams to drive around the lake and collect rubbish.  BYO trailer with cage, or we can provide one:

  • 11.30am-2.30pm
  • 2.30pm-5pm
