Basketball News

Great news that senior and junior basketball has resumed this week and will continue as normal for all divisions. Please check the HBA website for fixtures and note the important reminders from the HBA of COVID restrictions, such as QR coding into HILAC and only one parent/guardian of children under 18 also is allowed into the stadium.

With the season drawing to a close, I ask that you start to discuss with your child if they will be playing in the new spring/summer season. This begins in early Term 4 and continues into March 2022 (near the end of Term 1). 

Importantly please note the new season “years of births” below for junior basketball as they changeover as per Basketball Victoria regulations at this time so this will mean some players go up an age group.

Under 10 - 2013/2014

Under 12 - 2011/2012

Under 14 - 2009/2010

Under 16 - 2007/2008

18 & Under - 2004/2005/2006

I will require all returning and new players to fill out and return a sign up form which I will email out to students and Simone Brabham will give out at the Junior School in the coming weeks. Keep an eye out for this.
