THAT'S THE SPIRIT MOUNT ELIZA

The Student Leadership Team collaborated to  bring some cheer to the current lockdown  - 

“That’s the Spirit Mount Eliza”. 

The idea revolves around the concept of building school spirit and bringing our community together with events or activities on a regular basis. This has been in the works for a while but the student leaders have struggled to get events off the ground due to the stop, start nature of school this year, so events have have been planned virtually! 

“That’s the Spirit Mount Eliza”- Teams Tuesday

On Tuesday 10th August, students and staff were invited to take part in our first “That’s the Spirit Mount Eliza” event. For our first event “Teams Tuesday”, we encouraged everyone to dress in their favourite ‘teams’ attire throughout the day to celebrate the spirit of the Olympics. 

“Citius, Altius, Fortius - Communiter” or “Faster, Higher, Stronger - Together” is the Olympic motto and we feel this motto is something we can all use to motivate ourselves during this current lockdown.
