Our Wonderful MCC Students & Families

I hope this message finds you and all you love doing well. The theme of my message is simple:

You're amazing! Our students continue to be amazing individuals who are committed to our mission, dedicated to their studies, contributing members of our MCC Community and the community at large. You are now proving that you are resilient! I am so proud of the manner in which you have tackled these challenging times. All of us at MCC understand that many of you are facing difficulties with changing situations in your life, outside of your academic responsibilities.

We are here to support you; please don't forget that. In spite of all you're dealing with, you have stepped up in amazing ways to support our College. Many of you have reached out to your teachers and Office staff to ask for help! Again, you are proving that you're amazing.

We all wish you well as you complete your academic work online, during these difficult times we face. Stay well, keep in touch and always remember we are here to support, assist both you and your family 100 percent of the way.

To celebrate Soroptimist International’s centenary, we are collecting and shipping 100 bicycles to our sister-club, Soroptimist Samoa.

So, generous people of Griffith, do you have a bike you can donate to our project?

bikes for adults and children (in working order or needing minor repairs only)

helmets for adults and children (new or used in good condition)

At this point in our collection, we are looking for more adult bikes

If you have a bike to donate, please contact Sanita Lole and she will advise a member of Soroptimist Griffith who will contact you about drop off/pick up.

Many many thanks for helping to support this Act of Kindness

For over 50 years, Meals on Wheels Griffith has grown to become a driving force of care in the community. In the course of a year in NSW, over 4.5 million meals are delivered by more than 14,000 volunteers to about 10,500 recipients in both regional and metro areas of NSW. Sadly, we can’t do all this amazing work by themselves and need your support.

Wednesday, August 25th marks National meals on Wheels day, a day in which we usually gather together to host our annual Cuppa for a Cause.

Cuppa for a cause was set up to raise funds for those in need whilst simultaneously bringing communities together. This year, due to the ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic we are unable to come together to share a Cuppa, so we are bringing the morning tea to you!

Cupcake for a Cause!

We’d love for you to support us in raising funds and donating to a truly worthy cause.

Cupcakes are deliciously made by Vaccari’s Bakery for the entire week from Monday, 23rd until Friday 27th of August and delivered at a time suitable to you.

You can order directly by filling out the form below or email to info@mowgriffith.org.au
