Firstly, we would like to thank the students and families for making the adjustment to how we are running our online classes. We have found this to be a positive change and being able to connect with each other for longer periods of time. Thank you for all working together on this. 

 

STEM DAY

Last Wednesday we had our Stem Day. The excitement and fun we had at our Google Meets first thing on Wednesday morning was awesome! Some students had their protective gear on (glasses, aprons etc.) and embraced the day. Everyone was keen to share and even showed us two to three experiments in the morning Meet. A big thank you to Mrs Callaway for organising the day and to all the staff for putting together the instructions and videos. It was super fun! 

 

BOOK WEEK

This week is Book Week. First of all, a massive well done to our Library Leaders - Tahlia, Evie and Sophia who have been busy the last couple of weeks in organising a fun and engaging week for the whole school. You have shown a love for reading and your leadership skills to get this organised for the whole school community should be acknowledged. The students have had a great time being exposed to a range of books this week and were asked to express their love of reading in creative ways. Yesterday, the Library Leaders became the teachers. They had created an awesome Kahoot! on Book Week and ran it with every class. To finish off the week, this morning we had our Book Parade. Some fabulous costumes and students brought along their favourite books to talk about. What a FUN week! Another big thank you to the Library Leaders and Mrs Healey for organising the week.
