ITALIAN
Tuesday:
Prep-2 "VIVA LA PRIMAVERA"- Springtime mindfulness activities, songs and games in Italian
Thursday:
Gr 3-4 - " La bambina dei libri" by Oliver Jeffers and Sam Winston
Inspired by the beautiful story and illustrations from the book, students are creating their accordion book in Italian ( to submit pictures via Google Classroom by Sunday 5th September)
Gr 5-6 - " Storie della buonanotte per bambine ribelli" by Francesca Cavallo e Elena Favilli
Students are researching two famous Italian people and write about them, choosing a key event in their lives or explaining why they are/have been inspirational (to submit via Google Classroom by Sunday 5th September)
PERFORMING ARTS
Tuesday: 3/4 and 5/6 teaching rhythm and how it fits into music by putting rhythm to sentences, then it’s the students turn to have a go and reading rhythm with a fun online drum game.
Advanced students - writing the rhythm names above the music.
- Grade 3/4 and 5/6 students need to upload a photo of their work.
Thursday: Prep – loud and soft showing and teaching through fun activities.
1/2 - Dynamics - showing and teaching the changing of loud and soft gradually through fun activities.
