RU OK? Resources
R U OK? Day is a day where we check in with each other and its main message is to encourage people to meaningfully connect and support each other (not just today but everyday). It’s also a good reminder that not only do we need to look out for our mates, we need to be kind to ourselves. It’s a challenging time for many with COVID restrictions, but remember we can still reach out to our mates by sending them a message, or giving them a call.
How can I check in with my mates? Here are some questions you can try:
- How are things going?
- How are you coping with everything at the moment?
You don’t have to have the answers if things aren’t going ok, but you can encourage them to connect to additional support.
