FOOTY COLORS DAY!

We kicked started our first ever Footy Colours Day on Tuesday 14 September.

Students and staff were invited to dress in their team colours and participated in a mix of activities focusing on 'Footy Finals Fever.' This year we raised awareness about kids with cancer by supporting the Fight Cancer Foundation

A big thank you to those who generously donated. This year we raised a total of $588 for the Fight Cancer Foundation.

GLEN EIRA - GO FOR GOLD!

Get ready, get set to Go for Gold this October!

Get active this October (4th-29th) and help our school become the Glen Eira Active Schools Champion for 2021!

One lucky student will also win a Fitbit Ace.

How to Enter:

Each student will receive a Golden Ticket at the start of Term 4 and each time you walk, ride or scoot to school or complete a physical activity at home, tick one of the boxes on your ticket.

Being active helps keep us fit and healthy, so whether you walk, ride or scoot to school, follow along to an online class, walk your dog, kick a ball or visit your local playground, it all counts!

At the end of October, you’ll submit your online entry to go into the draw to win a Fitbit Ace as well as help our school take out the interschool honours!

Good luck and have fun!

RUN AROUND AUSTRALIA

M.P.S. ‘Get Active’ Challenge – Run around Australia – Challenge Extended

On Monday 16  August 2021, the M.P.S ‘Get Active’ Challenge was set to see if we could virtually make our way around Australia as a community by hoping, skipping, walking, jogging, running, riding, scooting and/or any other form of physical activity before the end of Term 3.

To date, we have travelled 5952kms!!!

As a community, we have managed to travel from Hobart, to Melbourne, to Canberra, to Sydney, to Brisbane and we now find ourselves only 60kms short of Darwin.

As a result of this, along with the positive feedback we have received, the school captains have decided to keep this challenge open till we make it around the whole of Australia and back to Melbourne.

Can we set a new record?!

So keep moving and don’t forget to record your distances travelled in the ‘Run around Australia’ google form. The link can found both on Compass and DoJo.

Milestones and updates about our journey will be posted regularly on DoJo.

Stay Safe and Keep Moving!
