GAT 

 

It was announced on Wednesday that the GAT has been rescheduled yet again for Tuesday the 5th of October. Students have been provided with a range of preparation materials to assist them in preparation for this in their 2021 Senior School Google Classroom. These materials are an important resource that all students are encouraged to utilise. 

 

Year 12 Practice Exams 

 

The Year 12 Practice Exams will be carried out remotely via our Senior School Google Classroom in the first week of the school holidays from Mon 20th to Thursday the 23rd of September.

 

 The need to conduct the practice exams remotely is to ensure we provide your child with the opportunity to engage in this valuable learning experience whilst adhering to the strict COVID-19 regulations currently in place. 

 

We will be posting out an exam pack next week for students which will contain a copy of all their exams as well as an exam timetable. Students are required to complete these exams in exam conditions via the Senior School Google Classroom which will be supervised. 

 

The aim of these exams is to: 

  • provide all students with the opportunity to experience exam conditions for each of their subjects. 
  • provide opportunity for feedback pertaining to exam technique and essential exam skills. 
  • allow students to gauge current learning progress and identify areas of strength or areas that require consolidation as they enter the revision period of their VCE. 

 

Year 9 Interviews and Course Counselling 

 

All Year 9 students and their parents have been invited to attend a 10 minute virtual interview to confirm their selections for 2022. These interviews are vital to ensure that your child has selected the appropriate pathway and subjects for 2022.

 

Interviews for students selecting the Year 10 (VCE pathway) will occur from Tuesday 7th of September to Tuesday 14th of September. 

 

Students selecting the Year 10 AEL (Applied Learning Pathway) will have their interview on Thursday 9th of September. 

 

Families are requested to book a suitable time by 9am on Monday 6th of September. 

 

Meetings are booked via the schoolinterviews website and details on this process were sent to Year 9 parents on Wednesday via Operoo and text.
