Teachers' Wishlist Update
When you support the OLA P&F events and fundraisers this is what you achieve!
Classes 1G and 1M made a combined purchase with their Wishlist dollars and literally filled their classrooms with awesome equipment, including: Turn and Learn maths boards, coloured sorting pop sticks, giant inflatable insects, Smart Chutes and Smart Chute cards that allow instant self-checking, geometry sets to form 3D shapes, alphabet stamps, magnetic letters, Paul Swan school friendly cards, giant magnetic tens frames and write and wipe packs! Phew, that list was exhausting!!

80s Rewind - Quiz Night
Whether you were a fan of beer swilling Aussie cricketers or loved yourself a bit of Karma Chameleon, the 80s was a super special decade that deserves to be celebrated, so get into the groove and grab some of the last seats for the 80s Rewind Quiz Night!
Don't forget that even though there will be a prize for best dressed, 80s attire is definitely optional! Speaking of prizes, there will be raffles and competitions throughout the night, with tickets to WASO and WA Ballet, and family passes to Grand Cinemas and the WA Maritime Museum just some of the amazing prizes on offer.
We still need a lot more prizes though so please keep the donations coming in! Donations can be as simple as a bottle of wine or a box of chocolates, toys raided from your re-gifting pile or vouchers for a store, salon, restaurant, experience etc. Nothing is too big or too small! Please have your donations in by Friday 31 August or, get in touch with the P&F about sponsorship opportunities for your business. Sponsors will be featured on the on-stage screen throughout the night - a great opportunity for brand awareness amongst the school community!

All OLA dads and father figures are invited to come and spend an evening with School Principal Greg Martin and special guest speaker Karl O'Callaghan, for an informative and engaging conversation with WA's former Police Commissioner. Karl is a dad and a foster father and, through his work, has a plethora of experience dealing with youth. Mr Martin will also be providing pizza and beer for all the guests! See you there.
